Glen Charlow is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, where he began life as an actor in a fourth grade production of HMS Pinnafore. The bug bit. He continued to perform in shows throughout Jr. & Sr. High School until he hit big-time in community theatre. Then, in 1983, he moved to New York, where he moved on to National Tours and Broadway.
